OAO “Motovilikhinskiye zavody” has took part in the 6-th international exhibition of armament and military equipment "IDEF-2003" (Ankara, Turkey, September 29 - October 3 2003).
The "IDEF" exhibition assembled more than three hundred exhibitors from 30 countries of the world in the present year. The Russian exposition was formed by the involvement of 12 defence enterprises under the aegis of FSUE “Rosoboronexport”.
New modernizing alternatives of widely known MLRS “Grad” and “Smerch” and series of guns-mortars “Nona-Vena” were demonstrated by OAO ‘MZ” at the exhibition.
Modernization of MLRS “Smerch” and “Grad” at rather small expenditures allows to achieve new tactical and technical characteristics, which essentially raise battle efficiency and ability to survive in conditions of modern battle.
According to the foreign specialists towed and self-propelled guns “Nona-Vena” have unsurpassed mobility of fire. Series of these guns-mortars have recommended their selves perfectly during tests on the crossed terrain. A wide range of fire will allow to apply successfully this type of armament in urban, mountain conditions, that is indispensable condition for realization of antiterrorist operations.
OAO “MZ” has conducted technical negotiations on cooperation in the field of military and technical cooperation with the representatives of 14 companies from Austria, Germany, Azerbaijan, Turkey, USA, Sweden, Israel and India.
Delegations of Turkish Gen Army Headquarters and Byelorussian Ministry of a Defense have officially visited the stand of OAO “MZ”.
